Welcome, Ms. Tena Schmidt!
Ms. Tena Schmidt joins Wisconsin Lutheran High School as Dean of Residential Life, supporting and serving our international and residential students. A graduate of the Staff Ministry program at Martin Luther College, Ms. Schmidt completed her internship at St. Paul in New Ulm. There, she developed a passion for working with teens, offering hospitality, and caring for others. She is currently pursuing coursework toward a Master of Arts in Theological Studies through Martin Luther College.
Originally from Wisconsin, Ms. Schmidt spent many years in Connecticut before returning to the Midwest. She has three adult children: Noah, Esther, and Isaac. In her free time, Ms. Schmidt enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, meeting new people, reading, sharing meaningful conversations, and relaxing with a good cup of tea.
Ms. Schmidt looks forward to building relationships with students and creating a welcoming home away from home for the WLHS residential community. Welcome to Wisco, Mrs. Schmidt!
