WLHS Masterclass: Glaze & Sip Brings Creativity and Connection to Campus
The WLHS Atrium was filled with creativity, conversation, and community on March 12 as alumni and friends gathered for our spring Masterclass: Glaze & Sip—our largest Masterclass yet, with nearly 60 participants in attendance!
Guests enjoyed a hands-on evening decorating, painting, and glazing their own ceramic bowls, guided by members of the WLHS Art Department, ceramics teachers, and student helpers. From bold colors to intricate designs, each piece reflected the creativity and personality of its creator.
Throughout the evening, attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the Art Department at Wisconsin Lutheran High School and how students are growing through hands-on studio experiences in ceramics and visual arts. It was a meaningful way to connect alumni back to the classroom while highlighting the impact of these programs today.
As always, the Masterclass provided more than just a creative outlet—it created space for reconnection. Alumni caught up with old friends, met new ones, and shared stories of their time at Wisco, all while experiencing campus in a fresh and engaging way.
In addition, a portion of each registration supported the Viking Annual Fund, helping provide tuition assistance and resources for current students. We are grateful to all who attended for their continued support of Wisco and its mission.
Thank you to our Art Department, student volunteers, and all who helped make the evening a success.
