Esports State Championship Runner-Up
The 2019-20 school year was the first year that WLHS competed in the Wisconsin High School Esports Association. Four days prior to the season ending tournament, the coronavirus suspended all school activities. However, our students were able to conclude their League of Legends season remotely and defeat Fox Valley Lutheran in the semifinal. The team made it to the State Championship final game against McFarland and lost 2 games to 1.
The esport program is grateful for the support and overwhelmed by the success of finishing second in the state in their first year of competition. We wish to thank outgoing seniors Han Lee, Dantong Sun, and Walsen Wang. The team looks forward to competing next year.
