National Merit Scholarship Finalists
Congratulations to Hannah Behroozi (’21) and Alexandra Miles ('21) who have advanced to National Merit Finalist standing. Hannah and Alexandra entered the National Merit Scholarship Competition their junior year with over 1.5 million other students.
On the strength of their Selection Index qualifying scores in critical reading, math, and writing, Hannah and Alexandra advanced to the next round of 50,000 applicants. This past fall, Hannah's and Alexandra's qualifying scores moved them to semifinalist status, granted to just 16,000. To compete as a Finalist, Hannah and Alexandra submitted their SAT scores, high school transcripts, extra-curricular and volunteer activities, and a self-descriptive essay. We praise God that Hannah and Alexandra are now one of the 15,000 Finalists who will receive a Merit Scholarship Award and are eligible for one of the National Merit Scholarships. Well done, Hannah and Alexandra!
